Botox works by blocking nerve impulses that makes muscles contract. Injecting this medication into certain facial muscles
causes them to be temporarily weakened, reducing their movement. With less movement, the skin over the muscle gradually
smoothes out, fading out the frown lines and wrinkles.
Three to eight tiny injections per area are required. Discomfort is minimal and brief, but your skin can be numbed with
cream or a cold pack if desired. You may resume normal activity immediately.

Off-label means that the medication or procedure is being used in a different application or for a different condition
